Hi Folks

The teams are really starting to build into two solid rosters now.  Big welcome to the Stavros brothers Niko and Dino who will be joining the Bronco team and also to Brandon Worrell & Liev Comis to the Mustang team.  Pete Stavros (Niko’s and Dino’s dad) is going to be helping us on the coaching front and brings with him a great deal of coaching / playing experience.

Our practice schedule will be published as soon as we have confirmation of the field availability, but as of now we are looking at Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:15pm and Saturday at 10:00am.  Hudtloff Middle School fields look they will become our home base for practices.  I’ll send out more details as they become available.

Some preliminary dates for your calendar:

• Friday Feb 28^th 6:30pm – Steilacoom Library – Parents & Coaches meeting

• Saturday March 1^st 10:00am – Hudtloff Middle School – First practice (Both teams)

• Friday April 11^th 7:00pm – Lakewood Library – Scorekeeping class (all welcome)

• Friday April 18^th 6:00pm – Sera Athletic Fields – Jamboree & Official start of season games

• Friday June 13^th – Planned end of regular season

• June 14^th – 21^st – Planned playoff games

The club is also planning some skills camps for both Coaches and Players.  More details to follow once we know the dates.

The momentum is definitely growing and I am receiving many messages from our parents telling me that the boys are chomping at the bit to get going.  Call me optimistic, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a great season for all out players.
