We share this beautiful park with the community and must be respectful of this rule.

*Park at Brandywine Wallace for overflow parking. Be careful when crossing Dilworth Road.

Welcome to our EBYA Fall Soccer season!

We just confirmed that the U on Tour will be at Community Park this Saturday from 1PM to 4PM. This is our local pro team - The Philadelphia Union - helping us kick off our season by bringing their pre-game experience to our park. Please stop by for activities, giveaways, and to purchase Union Gear!

Abig thank you to all of our volunteers! We are an all-volunteer league and your commitment makes our league possible.

We are all excited to get out on the fields and play soccer!

We have some useful notes below as we finish setting up our divisions and assigning players to teams.
Communications and Expectations

* NO APP THIS SEASON - our website has transitioned away from the Dick's Team Sports HQ App - you can remove it from your phone. We hope to resume using an app in 2019
* Your child's team assignment and practice/gameschedules will be communicated by Saturday, Sep 1st via automatic emails from our website
* Team assignments in divisions that were lacking volunteer coaches may be delayed.
* Key dates are on ourSoccer Website.
* Each team will have a weeknight practice at 6PM. Games are played on Saturdays with games beginning as early as 8AM and typically no games starting later than 3PM. Practice start the week of September 3rd. First game day is Saturday, September 8th.
* We also reserve Sundays for make-up games
* Look for weekly email blasts to the Soccer league on Friday afternoons with updates and info

Prepare for the Season

* All players must wear shin guards - you can often get them as part of a combo pack including cleats and a soccer ball at your local sports retailer. Helpful note - Socks are worn OVER your player's shin guards.
* Two highlighted rules within ourFAQs- earrings must be removedfor practices and games, and there is no heading the ball in practices or games, at any age level
* Sunday afternoon makeup games. Heads up that your child may have games on Sunday, Nov 4th and Nov 11th as we schedule Sunday playoff games (BOYS 1/GIRLS 1 divisions and older) based upon the playoff bracket. As far as any make-up games - With up to 36 teams practicing on any given weeknight, we only have Sunday afternoons available to makeup rain-outs.

Hey Coaches!

* We provide practice plans viaYouthSoccer101.comto simplify your coaching experience. This season the program will also include an online video training series.
