- Based upon both recent CDC and Chester County Health Department updates, the following relaxed face covering requirements have been approved by the township and will go into effect immediately:
- Vaccinated individuals do not need to wear face coverings during EBYA activities at township parks. Individuals do not need to provide proof of vaccination.
- Players and officials actively involved in game play do not need to wear face coverings.
- Note that this does not apply to coaches or spectators who have not been vaccinated. Coaches and spectators must continue wearing face coverings if they are not vaccinated and/or cannot maintain sustained six-foot distancing.

Update from the Health Department
The Chester County Health Department supports the Federal Government’s announcement on April 27, 2021 and the updated Universal Face Covering Order issued by the Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health on May 3, 2021, with the following modification: Any individual engaging in high exertion OUTDOOR activities, including but not limited to, athletics, exercise or play activities, is NOT required to wear masks when actively engaged in those activities effective immediately.
