About EBYA Outdoor Soccer

EBYA Outdoor Soccer is held in the Spring and Fall of each year and is open to all boys and girls ages 4 to 18. EBYA is an all-volunteer non-profit organization and EBYA accepts players from all areas. The EBYA recreational soccer program provides instructional soccer for children of all ages and abilities. Our programs emphasize good sportsmanship, participation, team play, and fun, but at the same time, help develop confidence and self-esteem. Games for players in the 2nd/3rd Grade age group and older have State certified referees.

EBYA is a volunteer organization that relies on the willingness of parents to volunteer to coach and help with other functions to keep the organization moving forward. Please step forward and offer to volunteer in some capacity.

Which Age Group should I sign my child up for?
In our Fall 2023 season, age groups are based upon your child's Rising Grade for the 2023-2024 school year. Choose the age group for the rising grade that your child will be in this September 2023.

Teams will be assigned a practice night based off of the coach's preference.

Our format is one practice per week and one game per week.
Practices are one night a week and are scheduled for one hour, typically starting at 6pm.
Game are played on Saturday mornings or afternoons, typically starting as early as 8am with game times as late as 3pm or 4pm depending on the total number of teams/games.

We plan for our season to be 9 to 10 weeks long for a total of 9 or 10 games.
We attempt to makeup as many rainouts as possible.

All practices and games are held at East Brandywine Community Park.
* The following divisions may play occasional inter-league games with LYA, GEYA, or WBYA requiring a small amount of traveling:
Middle School Boys, Middle School Girls, and High School Boys, High School Girls.

Note - Sundays are reserved in the event of rainouts for makeup games.
*Sunday games will start at their originally scheduled game time (morning or afternoon)
