Softball Quickball program. Participants will be combined with baseball Quickball signups.
Quickball players ages 4-6 learn baseball & softball fundamentals in a supportive team environment. Proven much more exciting and beneficial than t-ball, Quickball is a high-speed, low-pressure baseball training sport — a hybrid program for all ages that teaches but doesn't dictate. Mixing physically-active game play with individual accomplishment and style, Quickball is revolutionizing baseball & softball programming for young players.
Players only need an inexpensive glove to start.
If you buy a new glove, use it before the season starts to break it in.
Additional items like cleats are helpful but not necessary.
A protective cup is recommended.
The league supplies helmets and tee ball bats to use during the games but players are welcome to bring their own.
Quickball is played on a small field with short basepaths.
Positions include a pitcher as a fielder but there is no kid-pitch.
Other positions include infield and outfield, and an optional catcher.
